Charis and her team at Fusion Flowers, Rotorua, were engaged to provide all our floral needs for our daughter Kristelle and her fiancée, Tim’s Wedding on 5 February 2011. The Service was held under the Sail in the Redwood Forest and the Reception, for 170 guests, was held at the Blue Baths Venue. Charis and her team provided 72 vases of white flowers for the guest tables, 4 arrangements firstly used at the Redwoods Forest and then transported, by them, to the Urns at the Blue Baths Venue. They also made up the Bride’s Bouquet of white roses and the 4 Bridemaids’ bouquets of specially selected old world ‘Metalina’ Roses, a small posy for the Flower Girl plus numerous buttonholes, a corsage and flowers for the Wedding Cake. They also provided an arrangement for the Foyer at the Blue Baths free of charge!
As we live in Auckland, many of the arrangements were made via email and we found that Charis was extremely prompt and efficient at replying to any requests. This gave us confidence that the job would be done well! On our initial meeting we asked about the availability of ‘Metalina’ roses to which her reply was, “I know they are quite hard to get but I will ring the only Grower right now for an answer”! This was a welcome relief from other comments we received regarding these hard to find roses! Fortunately they were available for our special day and were the perfect colouring for the Bridesmaids’ bouquets for the day.
All the flowers lasted well and we enjoyed them for days after the wedding itself!
